18 Key takeaway Aggregate local store needs to report on inter-aggregate links (so that the collector can have an end-to-end view of the links). As a result: – Interface URNs for switches must match the urn that appears as a “stitch point” in the Aggregate Manager advertisement. These stitch points are the only piece of information that is shared amongst aggregates. – An aggregate local store needs to create interface entries in its ops_interface table for its peer-remote-aggregates interfaces. These remote interfaces entries are not related to nodes (no corresponding entries in ops_node_interface). They have a “stub” role, instead of an “experimental” or “control” role. This allows the collector to identify these “remote” interfaces. – An aggregate local store needs to create interfacevlan entries in its ops_interfacevlan table for each inter-aggregate link endpoint.
