What is GLOW and What Does it Mean for Pupils, Staff and Parents? Jane MacAulay ICT Coordinator
What is Glow? Glow is the world's first national intranet for education, developed exclusively for Scotland’s educational community. Breaking geographical and social barriers, Glow allows joined-up working the length and breadth of Scotland.
What is Glow? Glow has been produced through funding from the Scottish Government and Learning Teaching Scotland Glow can be accessed via the LTS website ex.asp
What does this mean? Pupils can access the internet, learning resources and develop their ICT skills in a SAFE environment Staff can access educational software, online resources to enhance education Parents can feel secure that their son/daughter are learning in a SAFE environment In the future parents will be able to access information via Glow that is being used in school
Parents Parents will soon have access to Glow Parents will have their own individual logons They will be able to share information with the school and access its resources
