The accuracy of that ruler is a half of the smallest scale.

Micrometer screw has its accuracy level of 0,01 mm Micrometer screw involves a fixed jaw and shifting jaw as shown on the following figure: Vernier Callipers has its accuracy level up to 0,01 cm. Vernier callipers involves fixed jaw and shifting jaw. A long scale cited on the fixed jaw is called a main scale, while a short scale cited on the shifting jaw is called vernier scale as shown on the following Figure:
