Trust Jesus in the Storms of Life

The question is not why do things happen but how do I now respond? Job 1:8 Then the LORD said to Satan, Have you considered my servant Job? There is no- one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil

Trust Jesus in the Storms of Life Job1:20-22 At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship 21 and said: Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I shall depart. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised. 22In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.

Trust Jesus in the Storms of Life Job 2:9,10 His wife said to him, Are you still holding on to your integrity? Curse God and die! 10 He replied, You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble? In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.

Trust Jesus in the Storms of Life Job 2:13 Then they sat on the ground with him for seven days and seven nights. No- one said a word to him, because they saw how great his suffering was.

Trust Jesus in the Storms of Life Job 38:1-3 1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the storm. He said: 2Who is this that darkens my counsel with words without knowledge? 3 Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me.

Trust Jesus in the Storms of Life Job "Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation? Tell me, if you understand. 5 Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? Job 38:8 "Who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb,

Trust Jesus in the Storms of Life Job "Have you journeyed to the springs of the sea or walked in the recesses of the deep? 17 Have the gates of death been shown to you? Have you seen the gates of the shadow of death? 18 Have you comprehended the vast expanses of the earth? Tell me, if you know all this.

Trust Jesus in the Storms of Life 19 "What is the way to the abode of light? And where does darkness reside? 20 Can you take them to their places? Do you know the paths to their dwellings? 21 Surely you know, for you were already born! You have lived so many years!

Trust Jesus in the Storms of Life Job 38: Can you bring forth the constellations in their seasons or lead out the Bear with its cubs? 33 Do you know the laws of the heavens? Can you set up God's dominion over the earth?

Trust Jesus in the Storms of Life 34 "Can you raise your voice to the clouds and cover yourself with a flood of water? 35 Do you send the lightning bolts on their way? Do they report to you, 'Here we are'?

Trust Jesus in the Storms of Life Job 39:1 1 "Do you know when the mountain goats give birth? Do you watch when the doe bears her fawn? Job 39:9 "Will the wild ox consent to serve you? Will he stay by your manger at night?

Trust Jesus in the Storms of Life Job 40:1-2 1The LORD said to Job: 2Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let him who accuses God answer him!

Trust Jesus in the Storms of Life Job you have very little knowledge of the physical universe. How can you question how I handle the spiritual and moral areas of life? Job 40:4 I am unworthy- how can I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth. 5 I spoke once, but I have no answer twice, but I will say no more.

Trust Jesus in the Storms of Life Job 40: "Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me. 8 "Would you discredit my justice? Would you condemn me to justify yourself?

Trust Jesus in the Storms of Life 9 Do you have an arm like God's, and can your voice thunder like his? 10 Then adorn yourself with glory and splendour, and clothe yourself in honour and majesty. 11 Unleash the fury of your wrath, look at every proud man and bring him low, 12 look at every proud man and humble him, crush the wicked where they stand.

Trust Jesus in the Storms of Life 13 Bury them all in the dust together; shroud their faces in the grave. 14 Then I myself will admit to you that your own right hand can save you.
