University Highlights Wilhelm von Humboldt´s University Made in Germany (1810) Basic idea: No more regurgitation of knowledge, instead: encourage productive thinking Quote: „Just as primary instruction makes the teacher possible, so he renders himself dispensable through schooling at the secondary level.
