3 You round down to the nearest whole number if the tenths digit is 0,1,2,3 or 4.
3.27 is rounded down to 3 4.32 is rounded down to 4 17.15 is rounded down to 17 is rounded down to 120 45.44 is rounded down to 45

4 You round up to the nearest whole number if the tenths digit is 5,6,7,8 or 9.
4.76 is rounded up to 5 5.58 is rounded up to 6 17.87 is rounded up to 18 is rounded up to 126 46.63 is rounded up to 47

5 Watch out for numbers which have 9 in the units column.
e.g If you are rounding up, you will make 10 units. This makes 1 ten, so you have to round to the next ten (in this case to 10). For the same reason, becomes 30 19.75 becomes 20 And becomes 460
