Step 4 Test Your Hypothesis (do an experiment) Follow the experimental design. Make observations and collect data.
Parts of an Experiment Control – the part of the experiment that everything is compared to. Constants – the factors that stay the same in all set ups so you are only testing 1 thing. Variable – The one thing that is being tested by the person/scientist.
Step 5 Analyze your data Make charts and graphs that explain the collected data. Summarize observations.
Step 6 Conclusion Share what was learned by the experiment. State any potential improvements that could be made.
