Shema in pursuit of a fully integrated Scripture seeking to walk out our faith in the footsteps of the Anointed One
Exodus 11Exodus 11:1-21 Adonai said to Moses, “Yet one plague more will I bring on Pharaoh, and on Egypt; afterwards he will let you go. When he lets you go, he will surely thrust you out altogether.2 Speak now in the ears of the people, and let them ask every man of his neighbor, and every woman of her neighbor, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold.”
Exodus 11:3-43 Yahweh gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.4 Moses said, “This is what Adonai says: ‘About midnight I will go out into the midst of Egypt,
Exodus 11:5-65 and all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the female servant who is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of livestock.6 There shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there has not been, nor shall be any more.
Exodus 11:7-87 But against any of the children of Israel a dog won’t even bark or move its tongue, against man or animal; that you may know that Adonai makes a distinction between the Egyptians and Israel.8 All these your servants shall come down to me, and bow down themselves to me, saying, “Get out, with all the people who follow you”; and after that I will go out.’” He went out from Pharaoh in hot anger.
Exodus 11:9-109 Adonai said to Moses, “Pharaoh won’t listen to you, that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.”10 Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh, and Adonai hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he didn’t let the children of Israel go out of his land.
Exodus 12Exodus 12:1-31 Adonai spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,2 “This month shall be to you the beginning of months. It shall be the first month of the year to you.3 Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying, ‘On the tenth day of this month, they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to their fathers’ houses, a lamb for a household;
Exodus 12:4-54 and if the household is too little for a lamb, then he and his neighbor next to his house shall take one according to the number of the souls; according to what everyone can eat you shall make your count for the lamb.5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old. You shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats:
Exodus 12:6-86 and you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at evening.7 They shall take some of the blood, and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel, on the houses in which they shall eat it.8 They shall eat the flesh in that night, roasted with fire, and unleavened bread. They shall eat it with bitter herbs.
Exodus 12:9-109 Don’t eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted with fire; with its head, its legs and its inner parts.10 You shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; but that which remains of it until the morning you shall burn with fire.
Exodus 12:11-1211 This is how you shall eat it: with your belt on your waist, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and you shall eat it in haste: it is Adonai’s Passover.12 For I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and animal. Against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am Adonai.
Exodus 12:13-1413 The blood shall be to you for a token on the houses where you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be on you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.14 This day shall be to you for a memorial, and you shall keep it a feast to Adonai: throughout your generations you shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever.
Exodus 12:1515 “‘Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread; even the first day you shall put away yeast out of your houses, for whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
Exodus 12:1616 In the first day there shall be to you a holy convocation, and in the seventh day a holy convocation; no kind of work shall be done in them, except that which every man must eat, that only may be done by you.
Exodus 12:1717 You shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this same day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore you shall observe this day throughout your generations by an ordinance forever.
Exodus 12:18-1918 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening, you shall eat unleavened bread, until the twenty first day of the month at evening.19 There shall be no yeast found in your houses for seven days, for whoever eats that which is leavened, that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a foreigner, or one who is born in the land.
Exodus 12:20-2120 You shall eat nothing leavened. In all your habitations you shall eat unleavened bread.’”21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said to them, “Draw out, and take lambs according to your families, and kill the Passover.
Exodus 12:2222 You shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning.
Exodus 12:23-2423 For Adonai will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when he sees the blood on the lintel, and on the two doorposts, Adonai will pass over the door, and will not allow the destroyer to come in to your houses to strike you.24 You shall observe this thing for an ordinance to you and to your sons forever.
Exodus 12:25-2625 It shall happen when you have come to the land which Adonai will give you, according as he has promised, that you shall keep this service.26 It will happen, when your children ask you, ‘What do you mean by this service?’
Exodus 12:27-2827 that you shall say, ‘It is the sacrifice of Adonai’s Passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he struck the Egyptians, and spared our houses.’” The people bowed their heads and worshiped.28 The children of Israel went and did so; as Adonai had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.
Exodus 12:2929 It happened at midnight, that Adonai struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of livestock.
Exodus 12:30-3130 Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where there was not one dead.31 He called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, “Rise up, get out from among my people, both you and the children of Israel; and go, serve Adonai, as you have said!
Exodus 12:32-3432 Take both your flocks and your herds, as you have said, and be gone; and bless me also!”33 The Egyptians were urgent with the people, to send them out of the land in haste, for they said, “We are all dead men.”34 The people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneading troughs being bound up in their clothes on their shoulders.
Exodus 12:35-3635 The children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they asked of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and clothing.36 Adonai gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. They plundered the Egyptians.
Exodus 12:37-3837 The children of Israel traveled from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot who were men, besides children.38 A mixed multitude went up also with them, with flocks, herds, and even very much livestock.
Exodus 12:39-4039 They baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought out of Egypt; for it wasn’t leavened, because they were thrust out of Egypt, and couldn’t wait, neither had they prepared for themselves any food.40 Now the time that the children of Israel lived in Egypt was four hundred thirty years.
Exodus 12:41-4241 It happened at the end of four hundred thirty years, even the same day it happened, that all the armies of Adonai went out from the land of Egypt.42 It is a night to be much observed to Adonai for bringing them out from the land of Egypt. This is that night of Adonai, to be much observed of all the children of Israel throughout their generations.
45 A foreigner and a hired servant shall not eat of it. Exodus 12:43-4543 Adonai said to Moses and Aaron, “This is the ordinance of the Passover. No foreigner shall eat of it,44 but every man’s servant who is bought for money, when you have circumcised him, then shall he eat of it.45 A foreigner and a hired servant shall not eat of it.
47 All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. Exodus 12:46-4746 In one house shall it be eaten; you shall not carry out anything of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall you break a bone of it.47 All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.
Exodus 12:48-4948 When a stranger shall live as a foreigner with you, and will keep the Passover to Adonai, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one who is born in the land: but no uncircumcised person shall eat of it.49 One law shall be to him who is born at home, and to the stranger who lives as a foreigner among you.”
Exodus 12:50-5150 All the children of Israel did so. As Adonai commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.51 It happened the same day, that Adonai brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.
1 Corinthians 151 Corinthians 15:1-21 Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand,2 by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 1 Corinthians 15:3-53 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Messiah died for our sins according to the Scriptures,4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 1 Corinthians 15:6-86 Then he appeared to over five hundred brothers at once, most of whom remain until now, but some have also fallen asleep.7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,8 and last of all, as to the child born at the wrong time, he appeared to me also.
11 Whether then it is I or they, so we preach, and so you believed. 1 Corinthians 15:9-119 For I am the least of the apostles, who is not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the assembly of God.10 But by the grace of God I am what I am. His grace which was bestowed on me was not futile, but I worked more than all of them; yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.11 Whether then it is I or they, so we preach, and so you believed.
1 Corinthians 15:12-1312 Now if Messiah is preached, that he has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, neither has Messiah been raised.
16 For if the dead aren’t raised, neither has Messiah been raised. 1 Corinthians 15:14-1614 If Messiah has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, and your faith also is in vain.15 Yes, we are found false witnesses of God, because we testified about God that he raised up Messiah, whom he didn’t raise up, if it is so that the dead are not raised.16 For if the dead aren’t raised, neither has Messiah been raised.
18 Then they also who are fallen asleep in Messiah have perished. 1 Corinthians 15:17-1917 If Messiah has not been raised, your faith is vain; you are still in your sins.18 Then they also who are fallen asleep in Messiah have perished.19 If we have only hoped in Messiah in this life, we are of all men most pitiable.
22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Messiah all will be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:20-2320 But now Messiah has been raised from the dead. He became the first fruits of those who are asleep.21 For since death came by man, the resurrection of the dead also came by man.22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Messiah all will be made alive.23 But each in his own order: Messiah the first fruits, then those who are Messiah’s, at his coming.
25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 1 Corinthians 15:24-2524 Then the end comes, when he will deliver up the Kingdom to God, even the Father; when he will have abolished all rule and all authority and power.25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death. 1 Corinthians 15:26-2726 The last enemy that will be abolished is death.27 For, “He put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when he says, “All things are put in subjection,” it is evident that he is excepted who subjected all things to him.
1 Corinthians 15:28-2928 When all things have been subjected to him, then the Son will also himself be subjected to him who subjected all things to him, that God may be all in all.29 Or else what will they do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead aren’t raised at all, why then are they baptized for the dead?
30 Why do we also stand in jeopardy every hour? 1 Corinthians 15:30-3230 Why do we also stand in jeopardy every hour?31 I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Messiah Yeshua our Lord, I die daily.32 If I fought with animals at Ephesus for human purposes, what does it profit me? If the dead are not raised, then “let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.”
33 Don’t be deceived! “Evil companionships corrupt good morals.” 1 Corinthians 15:33-3533 Don’t be deceived! “Evil companionships corrupt good morals.”34 Wake up righteously, and don’t sin, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.35 But someone will say, “How are the dead raised?” and, “With what kind of body do they come?”
1 Corinthians 15:36-3836 You foolish one, that which you yourself sow is not made alive unless it dies.37 That which you sow, you don’t sow the body that will be, but a bare grain, maybe of wheat, or of some other kind.38 But God gives it a body even as it pleased him, and to each seed a body of its own.
1 Corinthians 15:39-4039 All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds.40 There are also celestial bodies, and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial differs from that of the terrestrial.
1 Corinthians 15:41-4241 There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory.42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption.
1 Corinthians 15:43-4443 It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body and there is also a spiritual body.
1 Corinthians 15:45-4745 So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.46 However that which is spiritual isn’t first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual.47 The first man is of the earth, made of dust. The second man is the Lord from heaven.
1 Corinthians 15:48-4948 As is the one made of dust, such are those who are also made of dust; and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.49 As we have borne the image of those made of dust, let’s also bear the image of the heavenly.
1 Corinthians 15:50-5150 Now I say this, brothers, that flesh and blood can’t inherit the Kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.51 Behold, I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,
1 Corinthians 15:52-5352 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
55 “Death, where is your sting? Hades, where is your victory?” 1 Corinthians 15:54-5554 But when this corruptible will have put on incorruption, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then what is written will happen: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”55 “Death, where is your sting? Hades, where is your victory?”
56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 1 Corinthians 15:56-5756 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Yeshua Ha’mashiach.
1 Corinthians 15:5858 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 161 Corinthians 16:1-21 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I commanded the assemblies of Galatia, you do likewise.2 On the first day of the week, let each one of you save, as he may prosper, that no collections be made when I come.
4 If it is appropriate for me to go also, they will go with me. 1 Corinthians 16:3-53 When I arrive, I will send whoever you approve with letters to carry your gracious gift to Jerusalem.4 If it is appropriate for me to go also, they will go with me.5 But I will come to you when I have passed through Macedonia, for I am passing through Macedonia.
1 Corinthians 16:6-76 But with you it may be that I will stay, or even winter, that you may send me on my journey wherever I go.7 For I do not wish to see you now in passing, but I hope to stay a while with you, if the Lord permits.
8 But I will stay at Ephesus until Pentecost, 1 Corinthians 16:8-108 But I will stay at Ephesus until Pentecost,9 for a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.10 Now if Timothy comes, see that he is with you without fear, for he does the work of the Lord, as I also do.
1 Corinthians 16:11-1211 Therefore let no one despise him. But set him forward on his journey in peace, that he may come to me; for I expect him with the brothers.12 Now concerning Apollos, the brother, I strongly urged him to come to you with the brothers; and it was not at all his desire to come now; but he will come when he has an opportunity.
13 Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong! 1 Corinthians 16:13-1513 Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong!14 Let all that you do be done in love.15 Now I beg you, brothers (you know the house of Stephanas, that it is the first fruits of Achaia, and that they have set themselves to serve the saints),
1 Corinthians 16:16-1816 that you also be in subjection to such, and to everyone who helps in the work and labors.17 I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus; for that which was lacking on your part, they supplied.18 For they refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore acknowledge those who are like that.
20 All the brothers greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. 1 Corinthians 16:19-2119 The assemblies of Asia greet you. Aquila and Priscilla greet you much in the Lord, together with the assembly that is in their house.20 All the brothers greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss.21 This greeting is by me, Paul, with my own hand.
23 The grace of the Lord Yeshua Ha’maschiach be with you. 1 Corinthians 16:22-2422 If any man doesn’t love the Lord Yeshua Ha’maschiach, let him be accursed . Come, Lord!23 The grace of the Lord Yeshua Ha’maschiach be with you.24 My love to all of you in Messiah Yeshua. Amen.
