Starting with an idea/concern/issue about the present that you develop into a version of the future 2. Starting with a vision of the future that you analyze to learn what concerned you about the present HW If you choose #1, research local, national, or international issues and write a paragraph or more about what the issue is and why it concerns you. If you choose #2, write a paragraph or more about the future world that you are building and what problems people face in that world.

Your sentences can be a science fiction fragment, or part of a Thanksgiving story, or anything else amusing or touching, and yet school- appropriate.
