College is an expensive way to “find yourself.”  Thick skin: 9/10 scholarship apps will be denied.  Keep it up!! “Free” money = BETTER

5.   Find a VIABLE scholarship application  Eligible (except for year)  Find all necessary info (including writing essays or short answer)  Fill in all necessary info like it’s FOR REAL  Print off and turn in. Keep a copy for yourself. Assignment: Due by March 6/7

6.   Keep a running list of items that you didn’t have available.  Keep a copy of the application (s).  Start organizing your scholarship search (assembly line):  Folders (physical or online)  Due dates  Transcripts (official and unofficial); update often  Start “priming the pump” for recommendations from teachers, counselors, community members  Fill out Senior Bio Profile; update often  Complete a resume  Revise personal essay; write several drafts of prompts Reflection on Assignment
