Since you have been working with many kinds of addition and subtraction problems this year, he could use your help in answering some of these letters. These students need help in understanding so be sure to explain clearly and use drawings and equations to support your explanations. You may wish to choose your own pseudonym (Dr. Math is not a real name!).

41 To Learn Mathematics Answers are part of the process, they are not the product. The product is the student’s mathematical knowledge and know-how. The ‘correctness’ of answers is also part of the process. Yes, an important part.
