How are numbers related? A lot of things are related and depend on each other –C–Colors (color wheel) – animals –P–People in families

Numbers can be grouped into families, too!!

Families have members There are three members to a fact family The members must all work together

Will any three numbers work? Try it!!! –2–2+2=4 –8–8-6=1 –3–3+2=7 –1–10-4=6

Families live somewhere Fact family numbers live in their problems All numbers need to be involved

You will make your own family

You will make the house they live in

We will then put our fact families and houses together to show off what we have been learning!!! Together we will make a presentation for our families.
