What can we do about it?
Through the medium of Scouting, the community have equipped us with some very special skills. Skills that in times of crisis can be put to good use It is our duty to place those skills and the resources held in trust by us, at the disposal of the community who have supported us so well
“.......having been thoroughly trained in Scoutcraft, places that training at the disposal of the community for public service.” The expectation of a Queen’s Scout
We can place children out of harm’s way through natural disaster, into our Dens, and use those skills and resources to deliver a proven programme

Support from Government Transport Leaders willing to share the load in times of crisis Dens with suitable accommodation Programmes and programming resources
Where to from here? Do we proceed in developing this concept into a Plan? Who is on board to support the Plan?
