Everyone has huge improvement every year Reality – nothing can be guaranteed What I do know is this: 1.We need to look at good examples Patience, as hard as it is to accept, must be accepted 3.100% effort over the whole the season = best chance for improvement 4.Swimmers who listen and believe in their coach = best chance for improvement 5.Swimmers who are willing to make change = best chance for improvement 6.Breaks cause problems – athlete & coach perspective Hillingdon Swimming Club IN A PERFECT WORLD

THE OUTCOME WE ACHIEVED LAST SEASON – CAN IT BE TOPPED?????? Difficult to say because so many things can change throughout the season HOWEVER If we continue to do things better in the pool then we will improve as a WHOLE.... MY GOALS – Primarily Training Based Push better skills 1.Better streamline + UW under pressure 2.Increase swimming strength - greater ability to hold water (stronger stroking) Improve kicking performance under different conditions Improve swimmers understanding of training times – repeat training time sheets More swimmers buy into the commitment (EFFORT & ATTENDANCE) of our best examples Aim to do better in every competition Hillingdon Swimming Club Realistic Goals
