8 Induction – what must I do? Care Quality Commission (CQC) has agreed with Skills for Care  Complete the Common Induction Standards within 12 weeks  Must be relevant to the job  Learning process, but an assessment one too  Workers not be left to work alone until the CIS are completed and practitioner is ‘safe to leave’ to work alone
