4 ObjectivesOn successful completion of the module, students will be able to:Explain the concept of Information Security and its significance.Explain the concept of Cryptography and its mechanisms (encryption, MAC, etc.).Practice, and analyse a number of cryptographic schemes (historical, symmetric, and asymmetric).Demonstrate a good knowledge of a number of Information Security fields, including: Identification & Authentication, Access Control, Network Security, and Web Security.
