6 Assessments (1) Module Title Summative AssessmentFormative Assessment Module 1: The fundamentals of cognitive behavioural therapy 4000 word Fundamentals Case Report focussed on Assessment with a patient with depression and/or an anxiety disorder. In programme evidence based Case & Literature presentations (delivered to peers) to be included in portfolio. (In total over the whole course: 6 of each) A recorded session with a patient (up to 60 minutes), assessed using CTS-R, in individual supervision session Module 2: Consolidation of the fundamentals of cognitive behavioural therapy Literature Review on CBT Application (4000 words) In programme evidence based Case & Literature presentations (delivered to peers) to be included in portfolio A recorded session with a patient (up to 60 minutes), assessed using CTS-R, in group supervision session Exam (multiple-choice) over core programme literature and lecture material. Module 3: Cognitive behavioural therapy for anxiety disorders Literature Review on CBT Anxiety Problems (4000 words) In programme evidence based Case & Literature presentations (delivered to peers) to be included in portfolio A recorded session with a patient (up to 60 minutes), assessed using CTS-R, in group supervision session

Both elements need to be passed, but not necessarily at the same time. In programme evidence based Case & Literature presentations (delivered to peers) to be included in portfolio Exam (multiple choice) over core programme literature and lecture material. Module 5: Cognitive behavioural therapy for depression Case Report, treatment of Depression problem, 4000 words with Accompanying recorded session with a patient (up to 60 minutes). Both elements need to be passed, but not necessarily at the same time. In programme evidence based Case & Literature presentations (delivered to peers) to be included in portfolio Module 6: Consolidation of CBT for Depression Case Report, treatment of Anxiety/Depression problem, with co-morbid issues, 4000 words with Accompanying recorded session with a patient (up to 60 minutes). Both elements need to be passed, but not necessarily at the same time. Completion of Portfolio (pass/fail) In programme evidence based Case & Literature presentations (delivered to peers) to be included in portfolio Exam (multiple choice) over core programme literature and lecture material.
