Experience -- Wang Wei
The best way to solve the problem is to make friends with British persons and to leave Chinese friends. None the less, three impediments exist: 1.My English is poor, so it is difficult to communicate with British people. For example, I took part in a party with fellow travelers who are from England. We played some games, but I could not understand the games. So I did not join them. 2. Cultural backgrounds are different. Eg: In the party, I could not understand the their joke at all, however, they laughed happily. 3. Sometimes some British discriminate against other ethnic groups, although British people are very friendly. E.g. The cleaner of my flat threw away my toasts in a morning, and the toasts were in the toaster… I have been in Britain for three months. Everything goes smoothly, but I found that it is too hard to be aware of British culture and to dissolve in the British circle.
Perfect -- Maren Ord Don't close your eyes They may not open What if they open Would you be alive Everyone falls But not everyone rises Why don't you get up And rise again for me What if the world were a little more perfect just stop crying or would you take the leap What if the world were a little more perfect Would you open your eyes and blink again for me What about friendship What about friends You said the whole world was against you And it all had to end What about love What about family What about all that you have to live for It isn't easy here without you Why did you leave me What am I supposed to do (without you)
