I think this type of format for the feedback session should be used again in the future as I found i very helpful and i'm sure others did too. One suggestion I would recommend is to perhaps show an average-ish essay/piece of work and highlight where the student went wrong, as well as showing the first class piece, as this would show students how to avoid the mistakes commonly made. Building on the Pilot Session Sessions being rolled out next week (week 1, Tri 2) for other cohorts Confident Futures (Year 1) Lessons Learned - challenges / ideas: – Not discouraging poorer students – Current year coursework – Staff reluctance – Student attendance – Student negativity (2 or more staff?) – Fielding difficult questions – Include exam paper Feedback to Feed-Forward Sessions etc?
