3 Hebrews 10:19-25 (19-20) Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body,

4 Hebrews 10:19-25 (21-22) and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience.

5 Hebrews 10:19-25 (23-24) and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,

6 Hebrews 10:19-25 (25) not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. ,

7 Jesus, Our High Priest

8 Hebrews 4:14-16 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize

9 Hebrews 4:14-16 with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

10 “God measures us based on our Highpriest.”
“The blessings of the Israelites were based on how good or how bad their highpriests were” “God measures us based on our Highpriest.”

11 He Defeats The Power Of Sin
1st Principle He Defeats The Power Of Sin

12 Hebrews 10:19-20 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body,

13 Romans 6:10-11 The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

14 1 John 2:1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

15 He Declares Us Perfect As Saints
2nd Principle He Declares Us Perfect As Saints

16 Hebrews 10:22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.

17 The Ten Lepers Luke 17:11-19 (v. 12)
“As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance”

18 Leviticus 13:45-46 “Now the leper on whom the sore is, his clothes shall be torn and his head bare; and he shall cover his mustache, and cry, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’ He shall be unclean. All the days he has the sore he shall be unclean. He is unclean, and he shall dwell alone; his dwelling shall be outside the camp.

19 Leviticus 14:11 “and the priest who pronounces him clean shall present the man to be cleansed and the aforesaid before the LORD at the doorway of the tent of meeting.”

20 Matthew 8:2, 3 And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

21 Hebrews 8:12, 14 But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God,… For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.

22 He Disposes Our Provisions As Sons
3rd Principle He Disposes Our Provisions As Sons

23 Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

24 He REMOVES the Unnecessary Things He ADDS The Necessary Things
Two Things The HighPriest Does In the Offering He REMOVES the Unnecessary Things He ADDS The Necessary Things

25 The Provision Of Righteousness
2 Corinthians 5:21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. The Provision Of Righteousness

26 The Provision Of Riches
2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich. The Provision Of Riches

27 Hebrews 4:14, 16 The Provision Of Rest
