2. W HAT I L EARNED T HIS Y EAR In this year I learned many things. I learned that DNA strands are made out of, and I also learned about organelles, tiny organs of a cell. We learned about active and passive transporting, matter and mass, and how to determine what material it is. My favorite part of science is our in-class discussions, and how much stuff we can learn. It’s nice to know how things work and are. My least favorite part is how long Mr. Mixon gives us to study for our tests, we don’t need two weeks to study for a test that we already went over! By the time the test comes along, I forget that the test is even there!

3. H OW I R ATE M Y S KILLS A ND E FFORT. I rate my ability to turn in all assignments for class a 4 out of 5, because I used to not turn them in on time consistently at the beginning of the year, but I have gotten better at it now. I rate my participation in class discussions a 4/5, because once or twice I have tuned out. I rate my ability to work with others in class a 5/5 because I am a patient person. I want to improve on remembering homework and to bring things. I gave myself a 4/5. I am good at getting along with people I normally wouldn’t be in a group with. I gave myself a 5/5.
