Offering Wi-Fi services that changes your mindset, approach and enthusiasm towards Wi-Fi need even in remotest of the areas, while urbanely works extra marvelously Offering in USA, Canada, UK, India and African and Middle East countries Through offices and Channel Service Partners to change Wi-Fi wisdoms thoroughly For Franchise Chain of Fast-food Outlets
Global Wi-Fi network is an off shoot of Global Collaborations, a 10 year old marketing organization head quartered in New Jersey, and also operating from, Alabama, Pennsylvania, in USA. With Sales and Service Channel offices in London, Daresslam, Mumbai and Ahmadabad, we offer complete solution to wi-fi practically at one fourth of the imagined cost and our primary goal is to provide our customer with a professional and affordable, Hi-Tech, easy Wi-Fi solution. For our clients we have adopted the Meraki Mesh networks technology which is a technological marvel from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Google Funded company as our back bone product provider, which enables is to provide each customer with a back end support through our dash-board system on the website, thereby giving excellent ease of maintenance operations in any corner of the world. About us
Looking at the present market, every food joint needs some mode of client retention or a means to increase the time spent by a customer in his/her outlet. Major business have started to have free Wi-Fi service for their clients, this not only increases foot count in their outlets, it also helps them to increase the time spent. Some outlets also use the Wi-Fi technology for on spot billing, this decreases congestion at the cash counter where people have to stand in queue for their payments. So we strongly recommend our clients to deploy Wi-Fi in their premises. This proposal for SUBWAY Sandwich Franchise System explains this can be done at mind-boggling minimum costs and extreme ease for each of their Franchised outlets …next few slides explains how, the technology and ease of managing the system ……….. Please read each slide with extreme care Overview of proposal for SUBWAY FRANCHICE SYSTEM:
Global presence of this Wi-Fi technology 4 June 2008December 2006
How it is different from other Wi-Fi network models?
The Difference 8 Copper: CapEx = $1,000 per user Lengthy/complex installation Costly infrastructure Highly competent technicians Meraki: CapEx = $200-$500 per node Simple/plug-n-play installation Supports dozens of users per node Rich feature-set across entire network Each unit physically wired to backhaul Blanket wireless coverage w/ Meraki Individually wired access points Traditional WLAN: CapEx = $1,500 to $4,000+ per node Expensive equipment Highly competent technicians Disparate network architecture
Our System 9 Plug & Play Nodes –Managed in Dashboard –Power+Internet or just power –Nodes auto-configure –Gateway, access point, repeater or bridge Meraki Dashboard –Enterprise-class system –Management & Administration –All aspects of network –“Software-as-a-service” (SaaS) Hosted Backend Services –High-performance hardware –Scalable & Reliable –Meraki’s mesh technology –Rich feature set
The backend service makes it easier to control the 1.Security 2.Configure the network, 3.Branding the network, 4.Monetize the network All this is controlled from one central interface “TheDashboard”
The Dashboard Overview or the control panel Purpose Centralized access Streamlined network set-up On-going management and administration Administrator Accessible All network owners given account within Dashboard Password protected The Interface Web-based and viewable in IE, Firefox or Safari Intuitive and easy to use 12
13 Easy 5-Step Network Setup 1. Name your network 2. Add your nodes 3. Set the log-on policies 4. Brand your network 5. Surf your network

We have the revolutionary solar Meraki which makes the network completely wireless, especially for very large and tough terrains like 1.Restaurants 2.Golf Course 3.Large Apartments 4.Farm House 5.Large Fields 6.Very big resorts 7.Beaches
Revolutionary Solar panels Integrated/Self-Contained Bundle Solar panel (two sizes) State-of-the-art lithium iron phosphate battery Charge controller Meraki node Completely visible and controllable from Dashboard Long-range support Same specs as Meraki Outdoor Multi-Mode Functionality Access Point and Repeater No Gateway functionality 22 [Note: If Solar based system is required: SPV system charges are extra than normal system]
Here are some of the basic Wi-Fi layouts based on Global-Meraki technology
Suburban Deployment Opportunity includes: Small cities/municipalities Residential developments Home Owners Associations (HOAs) Small/medium hotels Campgrounds Small/regional airports Marinas Shopping malls/districts Entertainment venues Coffee shop hotspots 24
Urban Deployment Opportunity includes: Apartment buildings College dormitories Large/multi-story hotels Large cities/municipalities Large airports 25
Enterprise “Amenity” Networks Key Capabilities: – Free and/or Paid Service – Multiple SSIDs – Multiple Bandwidth Tiers Several Customer Scenarios – Hospital patient network – Office campus – University common areas – Convention centers Not a LAN Replacement! 26
Schools and Universities The Situation High school campus within a regional Massachusetts school district Primary focus was providing basic internet access in classrooms & common areas No existing infrastructure and retro- fitting was cost-prohibitive The Solution 46 Meraki Indoor and Meraki Outdoor nodes DSL modems serving as backhaul Worked so well that Meraki was deployed in 3 other schools within the district 27 Places where it is already implemented
Hotels and Resorts The Situation Resort tennis club in Longboat Key, FL Wanted to offer a paid amenity network Had I.T. staff to do the install and management themselves The Solution 11 Meraki Indoor and Meraki Outdoor nodes Backhaul from corporate LAN Paid access at $9.99/day or $49.99/week using Meraki’s credit card billing service 28
The Situation Start-up wireless Internet service provider Wanted to offer fast, reliable paid Internet service Time to market and scalability were critical factors The Solution 225 Meraki Indoor and Meraki Outdoor nodes Motorola Canopy for primary backhaul Billing performed through own customer management system 29 Wireless ISP / Internet Service Provider (ISP)
The Situation Residential community in Denver, Colorado Many affluent users that already have DSL HOA interested in adding site- wide wireless Internet access The Solution 60 Meraki Indoor and Meraki Outdoor nodes Only 6 DSL lines feeding the network Pro Edition service Free access with bandwidth throttled to 500 Kbps 30 Neighborhood (US) / Residential - Community
32 Why are we better ? 1. The range /coverage of Meraki repeaters are more than other routers(CISCO, Motorola),. It covers a much wider area, hence it will cover you driveway area, parking lot (where customers would be waiting in some cases) This reduces the number of repeaters in a network. Instead of 7 of those repeaters you need just 2-3 Meraki repeaters. 2. Advertising is free In case of other network, you have to install a software, for which there will be an annual licensing fee.
33 Why are we better ? This makes the network easily customizable by the working staff, there is no need of any specialized IT professional, this reduces cost Customized Advertising Now, this can be any new offers, sandwich of the day, Customer of the week etc
34 Why are we better ? 3. Easy Bandwidth management: You can manage the bandwidth through our dashboard(is actually a control panel)of Meraki thereby giving you a change of getting help in the best way Set Bandwidth limits
35 Why are we better ? 4. After sales: You get after sales service and tech help also, whereas when you install Cisco or D Link router, you have to wait for hours to get phone support. 5. Security: Also from security point of view, if you use Cisco router, you are keeping a big open space for anyone, whereas in Meraki, you can keep this fully password protected and you can have this system to work by giving a 5% coupon to your customer and entice them to come next time, when they come to ask for a pass word ( you just need to put a small board inside stating: Wi-Fi SERVICE AVAILABLE FREE TAKE YOU PASSWORD CUM 5% DICSOUNT COUPON TO COME NEXT TIME).
36 Our recommendations 1. This is further interesting: You can allow this system to give access to people around your shopping mall or store and give them at a very cheaper rate like $10 a month and collect that money on your system with total ease and Meraki software managers everything and sends you the earnings after a 30% management charges, so you can cover this money back and there also when they open that page, your advertisement can flash on so you are advertising to your whole shopping mall and area at a very cheap rate, either give free or take $10 per month ( Usually they pay $40 - 50 per month)
37 We have categorized the Wi-Fi model broadly into two categories 1.Indoor Subway 2.Outdoor Subway Our Wi-fi Solution
38 1. Indoor Subway For an Subway Indoor Fast-Food outlet, the Wi-Fi system can be wrapped Up in less than $1050 / Outlet and this would be one time expense no monthly subscription thereafter of any nature, isn’t that cool as that can give your landing web page to order from the opening page also and nearby stores can always order everyday from you just like that and can allow more than 15 – 20 people to access net at any single point of time … that’s Fast-Selling and great customer retention and satisfaction …. The Subway way of modern times ……. Go Get it … let Wi-Fi it.
39 2. Outdoor Subway For an Subway Outdoor Fast-Food outlet, the Wi-Fi system can be wrapped Up in less than $1080 / Outlet and this would be one time expense no monthly subscription thereafter of any nature, isn’t that cool as that can give your landing web page to order from the opening page also and nearby stores can always order everyday from you just like that and can allow more than 15 – 20 people to access net at any single point of time … that’s Fast-Selling and great customer retention and satisfaction …. The Subway way of modern times ……. Go Get it … let Wi-Fi it.
40 Assumptions For outlets less than 500 sq ft and 15-20 connections at a time, the requirement would change(will decrease). In case of indoor Wi-Fi, we consider that the subway is indoor and there is no arrangements outside the restaurant. In case of outdoor Wi-Fi, we consider that the subway can be completely outdoor or partially outdoor. The connection may be free to access or authenticated by a password/wep key. The network can be charged or thrown free of cost. Area coverage: 1500 -2000sq. ft maximum. At least 50 user can login at a time.
41 Plan of action As soon as the deal is fixed our technical team will have a conference call to understand the site better and prepare a detail report or in some cases visit the site. After the approval of the report, within a week the network will be set alive. We will provide on free online demo if required.
