28 Technology Adoption Progam (TAP) Microsoft Axapta is quality driven TAP program works the following way Leverages the corporate TAP program Consistent Pilot approach from customer and partner’s perspective across products Primary goals Initiating a true pre-release beta test phase with partners/customers Validate product readiness for production processing Validate upgrade path from previous version to Microsoft Axapta 4.0 based on real customer databases and customizations Transfer setup and configuration knowledge from development team to Partners, Consulting, Support, and ISV’s Prepare and validate extended team readiness for RTM Provide early access to Microsoft Axapta 4.0 and obtain feedback/input from Partners and Customers Develop customer testimonials prior to release for use by MS and Partners Provide needed functionality to customers with high priority legacy issues Assumptions Microsoft Axapta 4.0 plans to engage with TAP partner+customers in NA, Asia, and in EMEA Start broader partner/ISV beta program in mid October 2005.
