THIRD MILLENIUM PROVERBS Live Well Until Jesus’ Return by David D. Hambleton

There is only one God. You’re not Him, and neither is this writer. That is a very good thing.

Jesus, the God of all creation come to live among us (Immanuel), suffered ridicule, bled, and died for you because He wants to be near you; you are so very precious to Him. He calls us Brother and Sister. Decide what you’re going to do with Him.

Never let anyone treat you as less than a child of the King. Even yourself…

Its not all about you. You’re one of the crowd. If you know Christ, you’re one of the In Crowd – be proud!

You don’t make the rules. God does. Be afraid. Be very afraid. Too often you’ll Have the terrible responsibility of interpreting His rules. Study hard! Your life and others are in the balance.

Your words are important. Speak up and be heard. Speak the truth in love. Speak your heart. Speak well.

The God of all creation is in your corner. Fight like He’s standing behind you. Pray without ceasing!

If you fight really well, it’ll really annoy the devil. Its gonna hurt when he strikes back. He’ll hurt you even if you don’t fight. Make your life worth the pain. Spit in his eye! Grin when you fight.

There are three Aramaic words that translate to the English word “love.” Phileo means brotherly love – friendship or partnership love. Eros is romantic love – let the married define this. Agape is Godly, selfless love – this is the highest form and dearer than treasure.

Love done right is a commitment; a verb. Decide to– and do it every day. It will reward you, but only if you don’t do it for a reward. The lover is more blessed than the loved. Love!

If you want to marry, consider your options. If anyone or anything else interests you or makes you happy or keeps you sane, do that instead. Offer this option to your betrothed before the big day.

If you don’t believe, you’ll never see it… Have faith, and take the step… If you ask Him for faith, He’ll give it. When you exercise it, you’ll see His power.

Have hope! “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares The Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
