4 / GE Title or job number / 10/11/2014 Executive Committee’s Responsibility Challenges New members associate improvement of communication skills with the TM experience more than leadership skills Requirements are more confusing than for CC Members’ goals are vague, non- existent, and/or undocumented Solutions Track and post progress Secretary collects books; extra books available; or copies of evaluation pages available. Give a speech on goals Others? Members forget to bring their CL books (focus is usually on CC) Visibility of progress Mtg Roles already filled by others Others? Solid new member orientation Assign mentor who makes a point of reviewing CL Work with every member to develop clear & specific goals. Document them. Develop a plan to achieve the goal. Friendly competition
