1. In the gospelsFirst baptism who does the baptizing? Holy SpiritWho does He baptize us into? JesusThird baptism who does the baptizing? JesusWho does He baptize us into? Holy Spirit

3. In the Old TestamentObviously the desire was to get into the presence of God.When you came in there was 3 things you needed to do before coming before God.
1. Altar where you shed the blood of the lamb. 2. Laver where you washed with water.3. Flask where you were anointed with oil, oil of course representing the Spirit.
The baptism of the Holy Spirit was a normal experience in the New Testament church It’s really about a closer relationship with Holy Spirit about more of God
1. Remove all barriers.2. Request the gift of the Holy Spirit.(Luke 11:13) If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!
3. Receive Him by faith. Most everything that God has for you makes you take another step, another risk of faith
The difference between the first baptism and the third is like the difference between filling up a glass of water and throwing that glass in a swimming pool.
