5 DID YOU KNOW…  1 in 3 acres on U.S. farms is planted for export.  39% of Port of Savannah exports were ag commodities: wood pulp, food, and paper & paperboard. (FY’12)  The Port of Savannah is the 2 nd largest U.S container port for exports.  U.S. free trade agreement partners buy 45%+ of U.S. exports.  97% of U.S. exporters are small- to medium-sized companies.
