18 A SHARED VISION… I believe that all students in the general population can succeed in an Advanced Placement class in High School with the proper tools: A passionate teacher who is willing to go above and beyond the normal duties of a classroom. One who is an expert in his/her content area, but also has a passion for instilling the love of learning on their students. 23 FINAL THOUGHTS Being the Pinelands Regional AP Coordinator has been one of the most rewarding professional experiences I have had thus far. From the moment I recruit these students into the program, until graduation day, they are my students. They know that they can come to me with ideas and concerns and I will listen and try to find a solution. Building a relationship with these students has made me a better supervisor, and has help me to focus all of my energies in the direction of producing life-long learners.
