8 Are you a Real Buddhist? Suffering comes to an end when all Greed, Hatred and Delusion are eradicated, by becoming Enlightened. The aim of the Buddha’s teachings is therefore to become Enlightened, and thereby bring suffering to an end by attaining Nibbana.
