11 th grade on the football field BHS has one ELA 11 th grade teacher At the start of the school year, she takes her students to the football field and has them visualize their graduation and talks to them about passing the graduation tests and receiving their diploma the following year.
Writing tutorials Generate a list of students from the writing predictor tests they take as sophomores, as well as recommendations from their 10 th grade ELA teacher Our English department and graduation coach tutor students in jeopardy of not passing the Writing test twice a week during their planning period. Tutoring begins five to six weeks before the Writing test
GHSGT tutorials in Math and ELA We pull retired Highly qualified math and ELA teachers from the Bowdon community to come in and tutor our juniors who are in jeopardy of not passing the GHSGT in these subjects.
