Correlational Pattern Hypotheses “Pattern Hypothesis” – A statistical hypothesis that specifies that parameters or groups of parameters are equal to each other, and/or to specified numerical values Advantages of Pattern Hypotheses – Only about equality, so they are invariant under nonlinear monotonic transformations (e.g., Fisher Transform).
