Financial benefit is in cutting disposal fees, Stu Haber said. Up-front cost of $850,000; leasing option available. Payback in 3-4 years. 10% federal tax credit available. This unit feedstock rate and output is ~ 5x higher than CPCs BioMax-25 (output of 25 kW)

The sludge is pumped into the bioreactor, and enzymes break it down into carbohydrates and then into simple sugars, which yeast metabolizes into ethanol. 3.
