5. uwlc.net 93 children in crisis received 769 counseling sessions totaling 398 hours from VIP

6. uwlc.net 290 6th graders from Wallenpaupack Area attended Jr. Achievement’s BizTown for hands-on education on business, economics and free enterprise.

7. uwlc.net Accessibility was improved for patrons of the Hawley Library with limited mobility

8. uwlc.net 75 additional people participated in programs at the Wayne County YMCA each week because of new equipment and expanded classes.

9. uwlc.net 13 seniors maintained their independence in their own homes with either portable air conditioning units or heaters

10. uwlc.net 14 additional 3 rd, 4 th and 5 th graders at Lakeside were able to have a safe place to go after school with scholarships at CTC

11. uwlc.net 11 students from Wayne County school districts utilized Devereux’s School to Transition Services

12. uwlc.net An inflatable boat and motor were purchased by the Honesdale Fire Company, enabling the department to respond to multiple water emergencies.

14. uwlc.net 35 children received financial literacy education and participated in the Stock Market game.

15. uwlc.net 60 children in need at Preston Elementary received a backpack of nutritious food each Friday during the school year.

16. uwlc.net 133 Wayne County residents had their income taxes prepared for free as part of our VITA program.
