Verb-attack, usually with words, criticize (someone or something)harshly Lambaste The coach lambasted the team for their lack of effort.
Noun- a situation in which no progress is possible, esp. because of disagreement; a deadlock IMPASSE Because my friend hit my brother, we experienced an impasse, which lead me to slap her in the face.
