Iceland is one of the closest European countries to the US. It is a unique destination with unique activities…enjoy a day of adventurous activities in nature and then return to your deluxe hotel in Reykjavik, shop in fine stores and dine at a Michelin starred restaurant! Three nights in Iceland from $2,000 per person in 2011 summer, based on minimum 10 people (rates available for one or two persons as well) and including: –Deluxe hotel accommodations in Reykjavik with breakfast daily –Airport transfers to hotel round trip and all tours, lunches and dinners as follows –A stop at the geothermal Blue Lagoon for a refreshing dip in the healing waters and snack prior to arriving at your hotel –Dinner on evening one at the Einar Ben restaurant located in 18 th century timber-house by main square of Reykjavik –Day two you will go the the South Shore for the Solheimjokull glacier with Ice Walking via Super Jeeps followed by lunch at the Skogakaffi at Skogar Museum and a stop at one of Icelands famous black beaches.
Sample itinerary inclusions continued… –Returning to Reykjavik… evening two dinner will be at Fiskfelagio – the Fish Company with the 2010 chef of the year –The Golden Circle tour on the third day in Iceland includes the Big Three – Gullfoss (the Golden Waterfall), the Geysir area (yes, Mr Geysir was Icelandic), and Pingvellir (a UNESCO heritage site). Lunch will be at the Hotel Geysir followed by a stop at the Frioheimer Farm to visit the Icelandic horses and enjoy a show by these magnificent, but small horses. –Dinner this evening will be by the sea at Vio Fjoruboroio in the small village of Stokkseyri…a truly enchanted place with fabulous seafood and wine! –Air is not included but Icelandic,the national carrier, leaves from Boston, New York, Washington DC, Orlando, Seattle and Minneapolis with only five hours flying time from the east coast.
