2 Pyramid of Numbers Shows how many organisms are present at each trophic level

3 Energy Pyramid Shows how much energy is at each trophic level. The size of a food chain is limited, because of the amount of energy passed on.

4 10% Rule Only about 10% of the energy in one trophic level passes to the next. Does this violate the law of conservation of energy? Where does the energy go?
