IRS is conducted by Hansa research group and MRUC ( Media Research Users Council). IRS is engaged in conducting research for almost all media consumption – TV, Radio, Print, Cinema, Internet and Non conventional media. IRS
Radio Mirchi listnership is 3 times the size of the most read newspaper in the country Dainik Jagran – 16096 Lac readers ( As per IRS ) ; Radio Mirchi – 46488 lac listeners ( As per IRS R 2, 2009 ) With 46.5 million listeners Radio Mirchi is India’s leading FM station. Alliances included – IRS R2, week after recall listenership. The nearest competition of Mirchi is RED FM with 31.4 million listeners. This is however with 45 markets.
