11 Train to Reign How do we give up Guilt and Shame? 1. Acknowledge it! Romans 3: 22 – 24, “ 22 We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. 23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. 24 Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. “

Leave your past behind 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.“ Philippians 3:13, "...this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before."

Titus 2:14, "Who gave Himself for us to redeem us from EVERY lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds." (NASB) Ephesians 1:7, "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;" (The word 'riches' in the Greek here means abundance and fullness!) Romans 8:1, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus...”

Hebrews 12:14-15 says, Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this trouble many are defiled.

Know who you are in Christ/IDENTITY I am a child of God - But to all who have received him--those who believe in his name--he has given the right to become God's children … (John 1:12) I am a ‘kings kid,’ a joint heir to the throne (Romans 8: 17) I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalms 139:14) I have been accepted by Christ - Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us to the glory of God. (Romans 15:7)

18 Train to Reign How do we give up Guilt and Shame? 7. Write the Vision Habakkuk 2:2-3 “Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie, though it tarries, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
