MATRIX MADNESS!

2
WRITE 2 MATRICES TO ORGANIZE THE DATA!!!!! BE SURE TO LABEL!! Ms. Gagliano has several students on the cross country team this year. Mary, who runs a mile in 8 min. and 30 sec., ran 4.5 miles on Monday and 4.2 miles on Tuesday. Jessica, who runs a mile in 7 minutes and 45 sec., ran 4 miles on Monday and 3.75 miles on Tuesday. Violet, who runs a mile in 9 min 15 sec., ran 5 miles on Monday but missed practice on Tuesday. Amanda is the fastest and runs a mile in 5 min. and 45 sec. She ran 3.5 miles on Monday and 5 miles on Tuesday. BE SURE TO SET THEM UP IN SUCH A WAY THAT YOU CAN MULTIPLY THEM TOGETHER!

3
HINT: ONE MATRIX SHOULD CONTAIN THEIR DISTANCES and ONE MATRIX SHOULD CONTAIN HOW FAST THEY RUN REMEMBER:BE SURE TO SET THEM UP IN SUCH A WAY THAT YOU CAN MULTIPLY THEM TOGETHER!
