2. Origins Vikings(Anglo-Saxons) Originally came from the rocky, windswept coasts of Denmark and Norway. Their original home was icy, so they took much comfort to England, and set up camps.

3. How Geography is Involved The Vikings were very coastal and very adaptable when it came to waterways. They were fierce warriors who traveled in boats and out numbered their enemies with sheer numbers and force. Why England and not Africa, Distance, travel time, and resources available.

4. Where they Invaded The Vikings were drawn to areas throughout eastern and western Europe as long as they offered valuable items such as gold and silver. These area’s included: England, Russia, Netherlands, France, Spain, and Germany.

5. Areas 4 Main Areas: Anglo-Saxon Europe -Kent -Northumbria -Mericia -Wessex They relied on water to get them what they wanted, and who you were and where you were determined if you were invaded by them.
