2. Training products residing on web servers, related to a CAR document type, can be registered in the CAR, making them discoverable using the CAR Search and Browse capabilities. Users can search by Keywords, ID/Title, and Browse by Proponent, and Doc Type. Start at the Manager Menu by clicking REGISTER NEW …and Selecting DOCUMENT

3. Example: A document on Uganda’s Current Conditions exists on a proponent’s external web server. Using the registration form we can register it in the CAR as follows: Enter its Title and Select its Distribution Access Select the Remote Link button Enter the document’s Web address Select an appropriate Doc Type Enter/edit any other metadata as desired (ID, Description, Dates, keywords, POC… Click Register Note: Though not required, it is helpful to the user search process to enter the document’s IDENTIFIER and a meaningful DESCRIPTION
