2. What Happened?:  I assaulted the victim, by beating.  The police came to my house, and put me in hand cuffs.  I was arrested.

3. Consequences: The Victim  The victim and his family were deeply affected by my actions.

4. Consequences: For Me  I lost the trust of my family.  They were disappointed in me.  They treated me differently because they worried every time I went out.  I had an earlier curfew.  I couldn’t see some of my friends.  I lost my free time.  I got a criminal record and a referral order.  I went to court

5. Consequences: Positive  I met Nic. She helped me a lot!  She talked to me like a friend and was interested in me, not just what I’d done.  She helped me to change the way I looked upon myself.  She helped me to gain some self respect and respect for the people around me.  She listened to what I had to say and took the time to explain things to me.  She understood my difficulties and never got frustrated.  She never judged me.

6. Were my actions the right actions? NO!  H Hitting people doesn’t solve problems, but creates them for everybody involved.

7. What could I have done differently?  Ignored him.  Talked to him, instead of attacking him. How would I react now?  Not acknowledge him.  Wouldn’t talk to him.  Definitely not attacking him.
