4 5 mins Task 1 - To achieve P3 you need to describe the specific needs for two individuals at different life stages. To meet M2 you need to expand your examples by explaining which factors may need to be taken into account, for example access to food, budget, culture or religion. For D2, you need to discuss and explore the effects of these factors on two individuals with specific dietary needs. For example, how a limited budget for food can reduce the choice an individual has, how this could affect the choices they make, and how the individual could overcome any difficulties. To achieve P4, you must create a nutritional plan for your two individuals with specific nutritional needs at different life stages, such as an infant and an adolescent (and this can follow on naturally from P3, having described their specific dietary needs). You will need to apply your knowledge and understanding of dietary intake, long-term effects of balanced and unbalanced diets, and the specific nutritional needs and preferences of the two individuals to create appropriate nutritional plans for the two individuals. M3 will involve extending this to comparing their different nutritional plans. Include relevant skills on this slide as it demonstrates the relevance of the homework. If homework is project or research based include relevant places to look for information. Skills:
