Questions and answers Find the matching questions and answers.
Le weekend prochain Write at least 5 sentences saying what you’re going to do next weekend (it doesn’t have to be true – make it as silly as you want!) Look back in your book or at the wall display if you’re not sure how to form the future tense (clue: you need to use the verb ALLER)
The situation: The family is entering a competition to win an all-expenses-paid trip to Madagascar. The competitors have to do an interview to decide which family will get to take part. Your task: In your “family”, prepare answers to the questions you will be asked in your interview. * You can be as imaginative as you like – none of the things you say have to be true in real life! Your roles: Each group is a family. One person has to be a parent and one person a child, but the others can be whichever family member they want. * Each person needs to do an equal amount of speaking * Don’t forget – only the most interesting, exciting family will be chosen to take part in the trip!
Interview questions 1. Pouvez-vous vous présenter? Can you introduce youselves? 2. Où habitez-vous? Where do you live? 3. Quelles sont tes passé-temps? What are your hobbies? 4. Comment sont vos caractères? Can you describe yourselves and your personalities? 5. Pourquoi voulez-vous aller au Madagascar? Why do you want to go to Madagascar?
Assessing Interviews Give each group a mark out of 4 for each question. THINK ABOUT: accurate French good pronunciation how much detail is given 4 = everyone in family answered the question fully 3 = most people answered question with some details 2 = not much detail / no answer from someone 1 = very little detail – only short answers given Each group will get a final mark out of 20
