The theology of St Paul is perhaps the most influential in the history of the church. Formed the basis of the metaphysical and ethical doctrines of the Christian Church. Paul taught acceptance, and that the Gentiles could follow Christ as well. Without Paul, the Catholic Church may have became enough Jewish Sect. That means YOU would be circumcised.
Corinthians 13:11: “Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice. Mend your ways, encourage one another, agree with one another, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.”
Paul taught universal acceptance of all humans. Paul emphasised the Ten Commandments, as well as the seven ‘deadly sins’ and seven ‘principle virtues’.
Saladin Bac Haleli- BC1000 He had teachings very similar to Christs in certain matters such as redemption, but they never spread throughout the world. In this way, he failed to remove the evil from man. Jesus died so that his teachings may spread around the world. Can you imagine a world today without the teachings of Christ. Above all, Paul gives spiritual rest.
One of few Christian Roman Citizens. Pharisee No evidence of Paul knowing Jesus Received the Gospels by a revelation of Jesus Christ. Paul was not physically impressive, nor was he a very good speaker. He relied on a passion for Christ and his writings to get across the message. Paul was educated in Jerusalem under the famous Jewish teacher Gamaliel. Paul participated in the stoning of St Stephen, the first Christian martyr. This was before his conversion.
