Course Description Sociology is the study of human society and social behavior. The sociological perspective invites students to look at their familiar surroundings as though for the first time. Students will be encouraged to focus on features of their social environment they have never noticed before. Analysis and discussion of current events and their relevance to sociological theory is also an important aspect of the course.

Expectations A positive attitude and willingness to participate in class Respect for each other in class – No talking while others are speaking. Come prepared each day
