3 Background Funded by NSW Health and the State Library of NSW Previously known as drug your local library Started in 2002.

4 Who is it for? The NSW Community Specific target groups are: parents and carers of young people secondary and TAFE students

5 Where is it? Collections in NSW public libraries, 368 locations. Website available everywhere

8 About the collections Information on alcohol and drugs Personal stories How to talk about drugs and alcohol with family members Where to go for help

9 About the collections Updated regularly Selected by drug your library staff, evaluated by Collection Advisory Group (experts in drug and alcohol information)

10 Book collection Available in public libraries across NSW Includes information on specific drugs, personal stories, drugs and the law and how to talk to teenagers about drugs and alcohol Copies available for reference and loan

11 Booklet collection In all 368 public libraries in NSW Includes information on – specific drugs how to talk to young people about alcohol and drugs drinking guidelines where to go for help
