2 Qualifications  University undergraduate degree  five years of teaching experience  certification in three divisions:  Primary (K-3)Junior (4-6)  Intermediate (7-10)Senior (8-12)  two Specialists/Honour Specialist AQ’s or a master's degree  successful completion-Principal's Qualification Program (PQP)

3 Accreditation – PQP 1 and PQP 2  Part I – Introduction  course work and the development of practicum proposal  introduction to leading and managing a school  Part II – Depth  theoretical and operational aspects of the principalship i.e. leadership and program planning

4 Eligibility Peel District School Board  ≥ 7 successful years teaching  ≥ 2 divisions  ≥ 2 schools  current performance appraisal  either demonstrated experience with Spec. Ed. Policies/ procedures or Spec. Ed. Part I  experience in differentiating instruction  demonstrated leadership ability in a variety of settings
