5 How is light form? Light is a form of energy made of electrical waves. Some of the waves you can see and some you cannot. The entire range of light is called the electromagnetic spectrum. 6 The sky looks blue-not pink, red, green, or yellow! It gets its blue colour from the sunlight that shines through the air. Sunlight contains all colours of the rainbow, but these colours are scattered the most is the colour you see-blue. The sky usually looks light blue. But if you went to the tallest mountain, where there is less air between you and the sun the sky would be deep, dark blue. Higher you get the the darker the sky will get.
