Take heed to yourselvesTake heed to yourselves Acts 20:28 Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. 1 Timothy 4:16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

The key to spiritual rest -> listening to Gods voice!

2. Being Faithful in Prayer Two types of prayers: (read Phil. 4:6-7) 1.Prayers / Supplications – making our requests known to God (read Phil. 4:6-7) 2.Proclamations – using the Word of God with authority over a particular person, group or situation (read Luke 3:4-6)

Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. Time and Commitment Consider the biblical principles of the Tithe and of the Sabbath: 1.Tithe – God requires only one tenth (1/10) of our income 2.Sabbath – God requires one seventh of our (1/7) time God desires for us to spend more time with Him than He desires our tithes and offerings!
Time and Commitment Jeremiah 7:22-23 For I did not speak to your fathers, or command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices. But this is what I commanded them, saying, Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.
